Fever, massive edema and erythema of wound, groin and leg.
Demonstration of imputability or root cause: 
Two kidney recipients from the same donor affected. Blood, sputum and wound culture were positive for T-type 13 Group A Streptococcus. No donor or perfusate cultures were done, but recipient B also suffered the same infection. Nephrectomy was performed on day 2, which showed necrosis. Recipient B died on the same day.
